Key Course Elements:

  • Diagnostic, Midpoint Reflection, & Post-Assessment: Video submissions and self-assessments which generate reports for growth tracking
  • Core Lessons: Lessons which explore the key concepts of a course
  • Supplemental Capstone Project: A summative assignment with a presentation component.


Core Lesson Structure:

  • "Rachel's Rundown": Introduction by Rachel, setting lesson expectations.Core Activities: 3 multi-section activities which include engaging images, videos, and questions.
  • Recording Session: Students interact with Rachel via video or audio responses.

Present Course To Students

Present Course to Students


  • Access Course: Click the "Present Course To Students" button in the top right corner of the dashboard to access and project courses. A separate tab will open which will allow you to review available courses for teaching.
  • Select Course: Click "Go to Course Player" to return to where you left off in the course.
  • Teacher vs. Student Versions: Teacher versions remove response constraints, making curriculum navigation easier.
  • Teacher Manual: Refer to the Teacher Manual for step-by-step guidance on synchronous implementation with minimal prep time.

  • AI Assistance: Available 24/7, the Brainstorm Buddy aids students in planning their responses effectively.
  • Refining Expression: Helps students articulate their thoughts into written words, a common challenge in asynchronous learning.
  • Idea Generation: The Bot suggests strategies and encourages new ideas.
  • Validation and Feedback: Validates student choices and provides supportive feedback on selected topics.
  • Response Lengthening: Offers thought-provoking questions and ideas to help expand responses.
  • Translation: Supports with translation of the curriculum into languages other than English.

Using On-Screen Translations

Full Text Translations in Each Course


Students and teachers can access an on-screen translator to instantaneously translate all text from English to Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, or Hindi.

  • Once logged into Impacter Pathway, go to Courses to select a course. The on-screen translation options will appear in the bottom right corner as multiple flags, next to the Brainstorm Buddy.
  • Click “Go To The Course Player” to access the selected course. Once in the course, the flags will remain on the screen throughout any lesson activity.
  • Clicking on a flag will translate all the text to the chosen language, including the lesson content and questions, the course menu and options, and all directions.
  • To return to English, click the American flag. Translations can be generated and reverted back to English at any time as needed.

Accessing Teacher Lesson Companions

Access Lesson Guidance in Each Course


  • Log in to your Impacter Pathway account, and click “Present Course to Students” to access all courses available to you.
  • From the menu of courses, select the course you need and click “Go To Course Player”.
  • Once in the course player, find your lesson in the left menu.
  • You can click the small blue paperclip icon to the left of the lesson to expose the Lesson Companion for the selected lesson, or you can click the small paperclip in the top right corner to do the same.
  • Click the link to download the lesson to your computer.
  • Open the Lesson Companion in your Downloads to access the PDF of your selected lesson to get started.
