Impacter Pathway's Lesson Companions provide comprehensive instructional support for teachers implementing our curriculum. Available as an attachment at the start of each lesson through our online platform, these guides walk educators through each section of the course, offering targeted questions, activities, and extension opportunities to enhance the learning experience.
Lesson companions offer step-by-step guidance to minimize preparation time. They provide four key coaching moves that complement the online curriculum: Pause & Chat, Impacter Questions, Optional Extensions, and Coachable Moments. These strategic elements help teachers build classroom community, foster deeper thinking, and maximize the impact of Impacter lessons.
Teachers will find the handbook particularly valuable during synchronous learning sessions. With online elements clearly pictured on the right and corresponding coaching moves explained on the left, the handbook's intuitive layout makes it easy to reference discussion protocols and engagement strategies in real time. This user-friendly design ensures that educators can seamlessly integrate Impacter Pathway's curriculum while maintaining engaging, student-centered classroom discussions.
